The Professional clog is our iconic silhouette, our flagship style. It features a roomy reinforced toe box for protection and comfort. The contoured footbed adds support to the comfort features like a padded instep collar to feel good with virtually any foot. We set ourselves apart with a protective heel counter that allows the heel to move up and down freely while providing lateral stability, and the anti-fatigue rocker bottom, which is built to keep you moving forward.

UPPER: Various high-quality leathers. Padded instep collar.

TOE BOX: Roomy, reinforced toe box allows toes to move comfortably with plenty of "wiggle room."

HEEL COUNTER: Allows heel to move up and down freely while providing lateral stability.

SOCKLINING: Leather for breathability.

FOOTBED: Single-density open-cell PU foam.

INNER FRAME: Provides added stability throughout.

OUTSOLE: PU rocker bottom promotes forward motion for shock absorption and energy return. Wide heel strike assists with stability.

Oiled leather has a heavily oiled finish that creates a durable and moisture-resistant surface. To clean, use a damp soapy cloth or sponge to remove any surface dirt, being sure not to oversaturate the leather. We recommend applying our Oiled Leather Restorer to maintain and keep the leather looking rich. To weatherproof the leather, we recommend applying our Beeswax Conditioner.

How to Size Dansko Clogs

1.

There should be about a pinky width between the heel and back of the clog.

2.

Your heel should move up and down freely when walking. Relax your feet and toes.

3.

The clog’s arch should be under your arch – you should not feel the back of the shoe on your heel, or toes touching the front.

Iconic shoes for the always-original women who fill them.

Back in 1990, on a trip to Denmark to buy a horse, an entrepreneurial-spirited woman by the name of Mandy Cabot discovered the world’s most comfortable shoe.
The “perfect barn shoe” stood the test of time, and today, Dansko shoes are a symbol for the kind of dynamic women wearing them.

I love the look!

"Yet I find at at a very expensive rate that a 42 is way too big and this shoe in a 41 was a tad too small! My feet tend to slide forward make a toe wiggle feeling a little too snug! I absolutely love the look of the shoe. I also notice after standing a full six hours the bottom of my forefoot felt exhausted! My size 42 are way too big but my feet feels great after wearing two pairs of socks ( a diabetic sock under a compression sock). The shoes flop when I walk; which is highly irritating! I’m a Dansko lover! I have several pairs but I must say, this 41 is a tad too small!!"

Arrived damaged, fit larger than other size 40 professional clogs

"I have been a long-time customer and am a devout fan. I received a scuffed pair of clogs right out of the box. For $160. When opening the box, the left clog external toe bed was scuffed notably through the patent and pattern. In addition, the sizing of these clogs feels off - i ordered my routine size 40, which fits well, and 'test' wore them for size inside my house briefly and they are in fact, larger than my other size 40 professional Dansko clogs (black patent). Why the sudden quality change? Very frustrating as a long time customer, employee owned business & for the price, which has increased without quality increasing, in my opinion."

Great comfort and support!

"This is my favorite brand of shoes for both work and everyday wear. I have several styles. The arch supports, strong and shapely insoles, and thickly rigid soles protect my feet and allow me to continue successfully maintaining my physically demanding career. The quality is excellent and well worth the investment."

Flight Attendant Approved

"Only shoes that get me through 14 hour work days. First pair wore out after a decade. I mistakenly ordered oiled black and they were terribly scuffed after one day. Dansko customer service was amazing - recommend the box black and allowed a return. Very satisfied with the box black."

Fit is weird at first but not a deal breaker

"When I first tried these on I wasn’t sure I’d like them as they have room in the back. But they are so well fitted in the front and top that the gap in back isn’t uncomfortable. My foot doesn’t come out of them so I don’t feel like they’re going to fall off. I walked quite a bit on the first wear and didn’t get blisters. They’re more comfortable than I expected. I know I’m going to love them and they’ll be a staple in my wardrobe. I would definitely purchase more shoes from Dansko!"

Better than expected

"These shoes are sturdy yet surprisingly comfortable. I’ve worn them for 10–12 hours at a time with no issues. They do run large though, I recommend ordering a size down. I initially ordered my usual shoe size but had to exchange them for a smaller size, which fit perfectly."

Priti E. (5/5)

Not as brown as I thought

"I was looking for a slightly brighter brown. It is hard to judge colors from a picture. However, I love Dansko clogs and collect them in almost every color to go with my work clothes. I am on my feet all day while at work, so having comfy, supportive shoes is essential."

Nina D. (4/5)

Dansko Professional

"These shoes save me. I'm on my feet 10 hrs a day and have very flat feet. These shoes give me an arch and really help my back. They actually make me stand straighter and taller. Been wearing Dansko in the kitchen for years. Wouldn't wear anything else."

Theresa C. (4/5)

Larger fit than expected

"I LOVE Danskos and have been wearing them for decades. My latest purchase was perfect as always other than the fact that the sizing seems to have changed. I bought the same size as I always have, but they’re too large - even with socks. I’ve double and triple checked my order to make sure I bought the right size and I did. Not sure why the size change?"

Sarah A. (3/5)

Manufacturing inconsistencies

"This pair wasn't bad but the arch support was dramatically different between the two shoes, with a much higher instep in the left shoe than the right. Note: This is NOT an issue I have ever had with any other shoe. It is not my feet."
