At Dansko, every pair we make is designed with purpose—crafted to support you through your day. We want you to feel great about your purchase, and if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.
Returns Made Easy
We gladly accept returns of unworn, undamaged merchandise within 60 days of purchase for a refund or exchange.
A few exclusions apply:
- Accessories, socks, personalized items, gift with purchase, and gift cards are final sale
- Items marked “SALE” (ending in $.98) are eligible for exchange only

Return Shipping
Effective as of 4/1/2026
Returns are subject to a $5.95 return fee, which will be deducted from your refund. Exchanges are free.

Start a Return
To begin, visit our Return Center.
You’ll need:
- Your order number
- Your email address or shipping zip code
From there, we’ll guide you step-by-step and email you a prepaid return label.
Exchanges
Need a different size or style? No problem — exchanges are fast and free.
Simply start your return and select your new item during the process.
Packaging
Please return your product in the original shoe box and remove or cover any old shipping labels if using the original shipping carton.
You’re welcome to use your own packaging — just make sure items are protected in transit.
No Paperwork Needed
We’ve got everything we need — no forms required.
Wrong Item?
If you received the wrong item, we’ll fix it quickly.
Start your return and select “received wrong item”, upload a photo, and we’ll ship your replacement once the return is scanned by the carrier.
Timeline
Please allow up to 7 business days for the processing of your return or exchange once the carrier has received your package.
