"Fit well, comfortable. Disappointing that closure is a VELCRO, not a true buckle, as other reviewers have said. Despite the sandal description describing adjustable hook - eye closure - these do not have such. Have only worn briefly for size - will see how comfortable they are with walking."

"Love the footbed and footbed fits but straps are too big and don’t trust the Velcro to hold the straps in place because it has to be wound so tight to fit that the straps lose much of the Velcro portion. If that makes sense"

"I was told by my podiatrist to get a shoe that slightly raises my heel above the ball of my foot which is very hard to find in a supportive cork-bed sandal. I was wearing another brand made in France that you can return and they will service with new cork etc for a discount instead of buying a new pair, but they were just no longer helping my feet as the heel is not raised. These sandals fit the bill. The foot bed is supportive yet soft. I love that they are adjustable with Velcro, lol. . no one is gonna know. No more lines and markings on the leather from adjusting the straps as leather stretches a bit after a while and needs to be tightened at the buckle. I also like that the buckle is on trend in a nice yellow brass color, not bright gold and flashy but subtle. I will definitely buy again!"

"Bought these for a trip and thought I would break them in first. Turns out I barely needed to. Incredibly comfortable from the get-go. I thought I would dislike the velcro, but it's adroitly hidden and looks like a buckle. And it's very convenient."
