APMA ACCEPTED COLLECTIONS

Many Dansko collections carry the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance. The APMA is the leading professional organization representing the nations doctors of podiatric medicine, or podiatrists. The Seal of Acceptance is used to designate footwear, hosiery and other foot related products that promote good foot health. This independent certification confirms that Dansko makes shoes with the wearers comfort and long-term well-being in mind.

Some Dansko shoes are identified as being "slip resistant" on the outsole of the shoe. When Dansko identifies these shoes as being "slip resistant" it means Dansko has submitted those shoes to testing by an appropriate independent testing laboratory to confirm that the measurable results for those shoes meet industry standards for “slip resistance” on (i) dry, (ii) wet, and (iii) oily/wet surfaces.
