Momentum Magazine

Just in time for summer fun, Momentum Magazine, the "voice of bicycle lifestyle," released a "Summer Essentials" packing guide. Must-have items include a bathing suit, tote bag, bike lock and, for days filled with comfort and support, our Dana sandal.

While packing for your next adventure, the team at Budget Travel recommends adding Janis, a sandal from the Vista Collection. The "perfect comfy travel sandal for spring" offers support for exploring new places and shopping for souvenirs.

In April, leading business publication CFO Magazine featured Dansko in a special report on sustainability. The article, entitled "BPrepared," profiled companies - including Dansko - who serve as certified B Corps, or like-minded businesses who take care of their employees, community and environment.

W Magazine

In their August 2014 issue, influential fashion magazine W ran a story on the Normcore fashion trend and the story included Dansko clogs! Paired with clothing from several high-fashion brands, Dansko Stapled Professionals in Black Oiled and White Box portray Normcore's simple and non-conforming style.

Today Style

Today Style, a segment of the Today Show, recently featured the Dansko Trista in a "cute shoes that won't kill your feet" segment. With "the ergonomic benefits of a clog" and "the breezy feel of a strappy sandal," Trista offers the best of both comfort AND style!

West Grove, PA: During the second day of the 2014 New York Fashion Week, Dansko served as the featured footwear for the Fall/Winter 2014 menswear collection of Dreu, a new fashion line from designer Drew Villani. Hosted in Chelsea, the presentation showcased timeless, classic silhouettes from the line paired with Dansko Stapled Professional and Karl clogs.

“With Dreu, I wanted to show a juxtaposition of minimalist clothing with Dansko footwear,” Villani said. “So I started with t-shirts and suits, and found that Dansko clogs worked perfectly to maintain the clean, beautiful look.”

Villani, an Australian native, first entered the New York fashion scene with a business background and a passion for design. After working with consultants and stylists throughout the city, Villani decided to launch his first line of menswear, Dreu. The collection draws material inspiration from fabrics that age naturally, featuring cashmere sweaters, solid color t-shirts and contemporary suits. Villani chose Dansko clogs in oiled and patent leathers for his Fashion Week presentation.

“When looking for shoes to pair with my line, Dansko was always in the back of my mind, because I wear them personally,” Villani said. “Aside from being super comfortable, they are easy to throw on and head out the door.”

For Villani, Dreu marks the beginning of an up-and-coming fashion career. After creating and presenting his innovative men’s line during New York Fashion Week, Villani hopes to achieve his ultimate goal of building Dreu into a full fashion house and consulting agency. As Dreu progresses, Villani plans to continue pairing Dansko clogs with contemporary suits, sweaters and t-shirts, creating a modern and sophisticated look.
