Our main lobby features a “Living Wall” – one of only a handful in the United States, let alone the world! The Wall acts like a natural air filter to enhance indoor air quality and helps to ensure a clean and healthy workspace for our staff, visitors and our local community.
A Living Wall is a bio-filter that helps to naturally filter potentially volatile organic compunds from the air. Plants are embedded in a jute fabric and watered by a drip which is irrigated behind this fabric.
In addition to the Living Wall, both Dansko buildings are home to a large amount of potted and hanging plants. These native, drought resistant plants also aid in air quality throughout the building.
